HELP - Replacing Front Discs on 64 plate Custom ? Stuck ??

Hi All

My mate is trying to replace his front discs on a 64 Custom and it 'seems' like the Hub is stuck on the shaft (see first video below).

He has tried 3 legged pullers which have snapped !! Plus putting on back on the driveshaft spline nut backwards and tried hitting the shaft back...

What is going wrong, in ALL the other videos i have looked at they ALL just slide of the shaft spline easily ??

Can't see NO way to EDIT my post ? Noticed a typo..

I'm looking to get a Custom soon and never seen this ( i have a Combo atm).

EVERY car/van i have had the hub just slide off or the driveshaft fall out.

Never came a van/car that needs you to remove the hub in order to replace a disc !!

Where is the sense in that ? Ford don't want DIYer to do the job ??

All i have ever done is remove caliper, one torx holding disc to bub and remove, why put it on the inside ? Making hub removal/potential bearing damage a huge problem imo..

Not completely correct, ALL posts are locked after about an hour (maybe less?) so they can't be edited, and they can't be user deleted either.

That's the next step i think, weird one isn't it, just concerned that the bearing will get damaged with heat !!!

Hub is loose though ? its holding on the driveshaft as in my first video ??
