Ac fan and motor kicking in/out

Ac working but constantly in out and fan coming on off, presume its low on gas and needs a recharge.
Is that right?

As above, that's the way they seem to work.

Lack of gas will stop it getting really cold, but may be worth getting it checked anyway if it's not been done recently

Cheers lads this is doing it every 30-50 seconds so thought it was a fault as whenever the ac motor kicks in the engine revs jump about and its abit of a pain!
