Custom sport from Cyprus.

Hi
Does anybody have any experience with buying a transit custom from Cyprus?
The only things I see that are different are.
2 year warranty instead of 3.
No ford assist.
That is because it is for uk that offer those.
Please let me know if you have one or are considering buying one yourself?

I do already have a new sport van.
Got it in April this year. Made a mistake and what for the manual.
It's done 25000m now and was thinking of changing it after a year. Usually try to keep them 3 years.
So because on a percentage scale I will have to loose the depreciation I was thinking of saving some some money and buying one from Cyprus.
Has anyone on here bought from Cyprus in the past?

I bought a new Mk8 flat bed that turned out to be from Cyprus.

Didn't realise until it had a problem just before its 3rd birthday, then I found out it was from Cyrpus.

It was cheap though, so swings and roundabouts.

In all the time you've had it then there was never a problem with ford servicing it and fixing anything?
What about insurance? Now you know I take it you will have to tick the box that said is thos vehicle an import...
Wonder what that does to a premium? Anybody know?
