What's the ride like on 20s

Hi all
Was wondering if anybody has put 20inch alloys on there custom and any feedback as to the ride quality with them.
A before and after comparison.
I would really like to buy some 20inch wheels for mine because they look a lot better than 18s in my opinion but I do around 30 -40 k a year and dont want to be in a position where I have ruined the drive...
Any feedback and pictures would be great...

Hi Mate i have 20 inch bola alloys and personally i find the ride fine, i am on 255 35 20 tyres as they cheap to buy £55 on ebay Skyfire 102 load and they are great value and are wearing very good . if you look at my posts you can see pictures, i get loads of compliments about them cheers

I had 20s with Pirelli P Zeros on my 16 plate Limited - just used them in the summer and 16s back on for winter salt. Ride was real good. Puts speedo out a little but you can go to willtheyfit.com and use their reckoner - gives you all the information you will need. Have a new Custom Sport but the 20s won't be back on till next spring.

I’m same as above I have 20s fitted with the same sky fire tyres.
No issues for me and also the skyfire have thicker sidewalls protecting the rim more and they’ve saved me once with a kerb!

I e got 20s there ok but no where near like the standard 16” alloys

Would be interesting to know what difference they make to mpg too. I had standard steel wheels on my mk7 and when I put 18x8 mak aria j alloys on the mpg went from 45 if driven economically to 35 tops. I'm torn between 18 and 20 on my lwb tourneo camper.

Today first ride with 20". I had 17" winter tyres, and not such big difference on comfort. And how they look

I put in 45 psi front and back and i had 17k out of my skyfires with no uneven wear and only £270 for the 4 tyres fitted

That's good but I'm what is the noise level like in general switching to 20s?
And how noisey are the sky fly tyres.?

To be honest i didnt notice any noise difference and if i did it wouldnt have put me off having the 20 inch
