Help with this wire! Battery change.

Postby Zesty » Mon Nov 12, 2018 12:27 pm

Hi guys,

I changed my van battery the other day but cannot figure out where this wire connects? It must be the heated seat wire as that’s the only thing not working. The problem is I can’t see where it connects to! I am 99% sure it doesn’t go on the positive terminal.

Any help really appreciated.

In that case,it's not used,it's for battery monitoring if twin batteries are fitted.
On yours, it should just be slid into a slot,on the plastic piece that slots infront of your battery to stop it moving about.

(If you look, yours already has an identical terminal fitted to the battery pos)

Frag, thanks!

For some reason though, since changing the battery the heated seat isn’t working, the back part of the seat is heating up, but the ‘bum’ part isn’t? So I thought this wire was the culprit? There is already a wire connected to the plastic part you mentioned, should there be two? If not this wire leads to somewhere perhaps?

Thanks mate

So it was!

I’ve slogged it back into the plastic bit.

I must have knocked something though, as the heated seat isn’t working on the seated part!
