Postby Mrsgonz » Tue Dec 11, 2018 10:41 pm

Hi Im having problems with syncing my phone. Previous posts have said about F37, but I can find that fuse anywhere, does anyone have a picture with its exact location, you’d be helping me a lot

Thank you Mike, we have all this information, and looked on previous posts but when hubby opens up the fuses like it says on previous posts n diagrams there’s not a 7.5 fuse F37 located where people say it is. Hubby is an HGV mechanic so Does know his way around vehicles, but it just doesn’t seem to be there. Hence why I asked here if anyone had perhaps a real picture or even video of it.

Perhaps the fuse box layout for your 2017 model is different than the earlier custom. :?:

Hubby has taken a picture of our fuse box, any suggestions as it’s not like any of the diagrams

 Wouldn't disconnecting the battery earth lead for a few minutes, do what you're trying to do by pulling the fuse :?:

Just checking .........................

You do realise that there are three fuse boxes, one in the engine bay, and two up under the dash (plus another next to the battery!)

Hi all thank you for your help, we’ve now managed to find the fuse. It is the same principle but in a different location, fuse number and amperage different to previous posts. So hopefully this will help those with a 2017 model Transit custom limited.
To find the location of the fuse box (body control module fuse box) remove lower trim panel to the right hand side of steering wheel,(large bottle holder) this will reveal the fuse box. Looking straight at it, fuse number 32 ( 10 amp fuse) is on the left hand side in between top 15 amp and 20 amp is below, next to the fuse it does say 32.
Remove ignition key pull fuse out, put ignition on for a couple of seconds, ignition off and remove key. Refit fuse and put ignition back on, wait several seconds. Following this go into Sync menu and and set phone as you would normally do.
Turn ignition off and refit trim panel
Hope this makes sense and help others

Can one of these fuses shown in the picture be removed & tapped into for a dashcam hardwire? Needs to have 0. 0 voltage when ignition is switched off...

Cheers
