Adrian Flux were very competitive when I had to renew

My previous insurance company cancelled my policy on the spot when I advised them I was planning to have side windows installed to qualify for taking the van onto a Camping & Caravaning Club Campsite.

I bought a DCIv in the end because all the tourneo 8/9 seater quotes were ridiculous - double the DCIV quotes.

At the time, a few people mentioned much lower quotes, but I never saw anything of them - sorry can't be more positive

My old 13 plate 9 seat tourneo was a car on all comparison sites. Paid £270. My new 68 plate 9 seater isn't recognised as a car on comparison sights. £470 was best I could get. Bit of a con if u ask me. Also road tax is about £450 cos list price was just over 40k. Lovely car but bleeding me dry!

My red custom was lovely, standard van though but low fuel economy, panic attacks about scratching it, no tax or insurance economy.

Got a silver 56 plate that is cheap tax, cheap insurance and 5mpg cheaper, plus I can park it in slightly rougher neighbourhoods.

I don't actually see the benefit of buying newer

Drive into London then you will!!

I have a 6 seater 2018 pre-facelift 130ps Ltd DCIV, My insurance is with Aviva and is £237 Inc. tax... OK, I'm in my 50s, have a clean licence, decent No claims and live in a low crime area. However I have cover for my two businesses, one of which has a substantial premium loading as its seen as a “Non-Standard Occupation”.

It’s like any entertainer, it always demands a higher premium.

Entertainer, Publican, Chef, etc, they all seem to demand a higher premium due to the possible "availability of alcohol at work" :!: That's what I was told anyway, so don't shoot the messenger

My youngest son has a higher than average premium, apparently because he's a pilot in the RAF. I can't work that one out at all

I did a quote a few weeks back for a new 2020 9 Seat Tourneo, 185BHP Auto and came out at £338 which i think is reasonable
But as said premiums will vary with Age, Location etc

Give Falcon a call I’ve been with them
Adrian Flux fell out with them then moved to Admiral
It takes thousands of nuts to hold a Transit together but only one nut behind the wheel to distribute them all over the road...
