Side door lock problem 155 2013 L2

Hi can anyone advise me on this please
Side door will only open from inside !
I have noticed the indicators don't flash on locking and the dash lock light doesn't light up any more on pull away
Although I do hear it locking

My recent problem wasn’t exactly the same as yours but my side door wouldn’t open, I could hear a “ clunk” from the lock area outside and it would open a little at the rear of the side door but no more
It started doing it occasionally and eventually every time it was closed
The van is still under warranty so I took it to the dealer
They didn’t replace anything, just said the lock needed greasing, but no more detail
The male “pin” on the LHS and the female “socket “ on the door had been liberally coated in a white grease
It’s worked fine since

Just noticed that the same door only locks when I pull away and not with the remote!!

We had same with our 16 limited. Greased first time then fault came back. They replaced parts under warranty second time and was fine after that.

I might be stating the obvious rjbbuild but my 2017 Limited is programmed to lock all doors as I drive away, I personally find it an advantage but I have to remember to unlock the doors using the button on the drivers door when I stop
If I forget and try to open the side door, it is locked and I have to use the key fob to open the door
Are you sure the side door is unlocked before you try to open it
If your van is able to be programmed like this and you don’t like this option it can be removed using the vans programming facilty

Good point but the front offside and rear doors all open when using the remote or door switch.
Although they all kock on pull away
I have to open nearside door from inside
My main concern is because the hazards don't flash am I alarmed and double locked
