Faulty drivers door loom

Postby Anthony1664 » Sun Apr 14, 2019 7:56 pm

So today my fairly new to me Ex AA 64 plate Custom was been a wee bit odd electrically, inner door unlock button wouldn’t work, mirror adjust for the passengers side would only pan and tilt not go left and right and the final nail couldn’t lock the van and had a constant drivers door is open warning.

A bit of net searching fetch up how to get to the loom and seems I have several broken wires. So seems I need a new one, any idea how much Ford are going to take from me and how readily available the part is? Good thing is it doesn’t look too bad a job to swap it out

Maybe you should check the rubber joint between the door and the body first.
I had same symptoms and it was because of few broken wires in that spot.
