tyres for custom sport van.

hi
i am just about there on needing to change the tires on the front of my van.
was wondering what other drivers have had fitted to theirs?
on my last transit custom sport when the good years went i was talked into putting nexan tires on.
these seemed to last for ever but the quality of the drive was no where near as good.

any info would be appreciated.

Look around and you can now get 8 ply commercial tyres for 18 inch rims. I've just recently fitted some Nankings to my bus as I've been merrily chewing through cheap XL car tyres every 8,000 miles for the last 4 years. So far so good, they seem to be wearing well and I had no problems even in near flood conditions a couple of times.

i found the yokohama’s good, eagles good too but expensive. usually get 12-15K out of them when on the front

Running pirelli’s right now but just fitted them so can’t say much

Also Michelins seem good too

anything around £120-140 off black circle tyres usually does the trick.
