It might be the actuator motor for the control flap (the thing that directs the air when you select feet, face or screen) has failed and it's stuck shut.
On older Transits this used to happen from time to time so I guess it's possible that this might be the case on yours? If not, the air must be going somewhere so maybe there's a blockage as you say (unlikely though) or one of the ducts isn't connected properly.
