2014 Transit Custom 125ps 2.2 Star&Stop not working issues

Hi. im from turkey. i have transit Custom 2014 125ps 2.2. Start Stop The problem arose. We measured the battery. There is no problem. But Start Stop does not working. What should I do? They couldnt find one problem in Turkey.

I have seen this a lot , works intermittently or not at all. Sometimes replacing front battery fixes it.


2 batteries should be fitted on stop-start van's , silver calcium spec & both should be perfect.

I mention this as you said battery ( not batteries).

Should really be EFB batteries (or even AGM) for start-stop, although silver calcium still seem to work


If that's the original 2014 battery, the chances are that it's not in good enough condition for the start-stop

Wish mine would pack up it’s a pain in the rear end when I forget to turn it off
