Battery Light And Dead Battery.

Postby Time4T » Tue Jan 21, 2020 6:13 pm

Hi,
I was driving along today (Custom 2013 2.2 125bhp) when my Charging Warning Light came on. I pulled over, had a look at the leads coming from the alternator and all looked ok there.

I re-started the van and the light went out, but came on again after a while. This happened a number of times on the way home. The batteries (fairly new) are now totally flat.

I presume this calls for a new Alternator?

Tnx.

I would think almost certainly based on what you've said.
