P0184 Fuel Temperature sensor fault

I have a 2016 Tourneo Custom after a recent trip it’s gone into safe mode with the ECU light on.
At first check was giving a DPF fault code, looking deeper fault code of P0184 shows up.
I now have two vehicles with the same fault code.
We have changed a selection of sensors and wiring looms.
Further investigation on tinternet shows it’s not just my 2 vehicles, though as yet I’ve yet to find anyone that’s discovered the resolution!!
HELP PLEASE!!!!
