Does anyone know where this is please on a 2014 Custom a picture or description would be brilliant as I can’t find the thing and I think it may be the cause of my problems!!

Thank you, car goes into limp mode for no apparent reason it’s been suggested it may be the fuel temperature sensor and to unplug it and see if it improves, should generate a fault light but the Temperature will default to 37degrees and run properly if so swap the sensor out.
With the lack of any codes coming up on my OBD reader it’s challenging to say the least!
Going up hill is even more challenging
Lol

the few instances that i have seen the temp sensors fail, have resulted in full limp mode with the max rev of 3000rpm, does the scan tool you have, have live data if so could watch the fuel temp data PID and see if it drops off when driven.
what are the dtcs that are being set??

It came up with DPF fault cleared that and had a P0184a I think it was which was coming up
fuel Temperature sensor, tool doesn’t show the temperature but found a forum that gave this is as a common fault and suggested disconnecting it which would drop the temperature to the default, bring up and ECU light but release it from limp
Mode.
So was trying to locate the sensor to try this as an action.
Got 2 buses with the same fault
The other has had a selection of new sensors and looms to no avail but not tried the fuel temperature sensor as yet

Good news guys this sorted my problem, it was indeed the fuel temperature sensor, Ford kindly relieved me of £48.40 for the part and my techie very kindly removed the old one, nearly giving himself a hernia undoing the bolt!
That’s the reason he did it, cos I could shift the bolt either lol!
Was a bit of a bugger to remove with two oil seals and equally a challenge to put back in!
Now goes like a bloody train again!
