Fuel filter replacement

Hello
I have an intermittent P008a fault (low fuel system pressure) the van runs great so I’m thinking i should change the fuel filter, as its on 52k miles and has never been changed before

Has anybody attempted this yet on a 2.0 pre-facelift? Just wondered where the filter is and if i will need to run the fuel pump to purge the air out like i have to on my Passat

Best thing to do is stick it on ebay as a 1careful owner, 52k and well maintained

On the 2.0L you only need basic tools and a jack.....Haynes video on youtube:

As video.
Think its a 32mm Socket, use a 6 sided one to get a better purchase on the housing, think there is a laser socket that has the cutout if you want.

I have the same fault code on my transit.. did changing the fuel filter stop the code flashing up?
