Current lead and delivery times

Does anyone know a realistic time frame between build date and actual UK delivery ?
My dealer indicated as little as 3 weeks, sounds a bit quick to me and i would have expected post brexit a bit of a delay on things.

Loads of variables, pre ordered for stock can often be changed to speed up a delivery, fairly standard l specs can often be brought in from other dealers, full bespoke order, build and delivery can be 12weeks plus.

The broker dealing with mine says there are 1000’s of vehicles sat at the docks.

Order went in back in November with a early Feb build date.
So the question is assuming it was actually built last week, how long before it hits the dealer ?
This was a factory order of a sport in black with twin side doors and single passenger seat and a few other bits

Ordered in August, built in September

Delivered late January

However, I optioned extras (dual sliding doors, tailgate etc).

That and I also live in Australia.

Ask the dealer! They have access to the info that you want.

From what we see posted here, brokers are lying gits. Broker sales are regularly a month or so longer than Ford dealer sales, but hey, you’re getting it cheap

Well he said 5-6 weeks from now. So maybe 2 months?

I was told a factory build submitted mid January would be ready April or early May but he also said take that with a pinch of salt.

I've been quoted 4 moths of other dealers too.

Due to arrive next week at the dealers.
Not too bad for a factory order placed at the beginning of December.
we will see if that date slips, but apparently it has left Turkey over a week ago.

I got word today that my mk8 had landed in the uk.

November ordered.

Two weeks hopefully.

And now apparently held in Antwerp - so that means stuck in a queue of VAT wrangling no doubt

Hi. How long was it before it turned up from Antwerp. ??
I’ve been waiting for 8 weeks from the original ETA and last heard it was in Antwerp about 4 weeks ago.

Mine never came. Got a Citroen relay “driver” now.

Not the same as a transit. But a third less in cost.
