Intermittent rear wiper

Rather random rear wiper on my 2014 tourneo.

When you first get in and start up, the rear wiper will work fine, when you drive off and after a minute or so it'll stop working.

Now re shutting the rear door sometimes gets it working again so I'm guessing there a dodgy wire or two in the loom where the rubber boot is in the top left corner, is there a technique to getting the boot bit off?

Update

Turns out the motor itself had a dodgy connection, stripped it and think its sorted

It failed again so stripped a 2nd time

Turns out it was running dry, hardly any grease in it so the motor was obviously overheating and stopping.

Good spray with copper grease and it's working perfectly
