L1H2 load space width dimensions?

Postby FiveEnsos » Mon Mar 29, 2021 11:06 am

Hello all,

Newly registered account but I have been lurking for several years. Currently own a VW Caddy, I have been looking at L2H2 transits to buy as a conversion project. Then occurred to me, what about an L1H2 custom. Don't need 3m load length for what I'm planning and prefer the shorter WB (115" rather than 130", half way between the transit and my vw which is 105")

I see that the load width (I assume this measurement is at floor level) is basically the same as the larger transit, at 1775mm verses 1784mm. Visually I see that the walls of the custom slope in more than the Transit, but I haven't been able to find the dimensions for the width at a different height of the van.

Could anyone tell me roughly what the internal width is at mid height (approx 1m) and also at the ceiling level?

Thanks chaps.

I have tried twice to add a CAD drawing showing you the two measurements. It seems both are awaiting moderation, Its been a few days.Image
