Have a question 2018 transit custom (facelifted model). See when I connect my iPhone with a lead plugged into the usb it doesn’t play the music from my phone. I need to connect via Bluetooth. Is this normal or is there an issue. It’s just annoying as I have my phone and my work phone. If I have mine playing music and my work phone rings it won’t connect to the Bluetooth without me switching the phones in the settings.
Has anyone come across this issue. If so have you found a way around it. It has sync3 non touch screen

Is it because you have the bluetooth on the music phone turned on

I do exactly the same thing as you on my Mk7, except that the music phone has bluetooth turned off, but then my radio is much more basic

I have tried it with Bluetooth off and on. Would just make it so much easier if it played with the leed rather than having to connect via Bluetooth as it knocks my work phone off

Are you using the top usb above the steering wheel?

Remove the non work phone from the BT list or ‘forget this connection’ in the phone settings?
