Fitting reverse camera to 2020 sync 2.5

What does the camera look like externally? Does it look like the Ford one?

The best cameras are the wedge as you can change settings on them and angle.i cant use a high level as im planning a spoiler.
If your rocking the Sync3, you would need the other harness for around £35 and coding.
I think the main stealers fit the OEM for just under £500

I can now confirm this is working ,
I had to run RCA cable behind glovebox to £12 Focus harness behind screen,easy job.
I can confirm the coding required for anyone else doing this,will post it up later,its a matter of changing the digit 1 to digit 2.

First ensure you have sync 2.5,
The harness is from amazon for 2020 focus camera harness, its the sqaure plug.
I got my ntsc parkvision camera also from amazon.
You can power the camera from the accessorie behind driver side rear l light cluster

Here is the coding required for sync 2.5

727-08-02:

xxxx xxxx xX

Change X to

2 for Non-NA layout
3 for NA layout
4 for Non-NA layout with Split View
NA = North America
Basically you change the digit 1 to 2

Hey
You should get a blue screen after the coding without fitting the camera,
You should be able to find the thread on forscan forum listing the coding,i got it from there,
Theres also other guys with this working on there.
Ensure you have a Ntsc camera and its powered.

Great thread, assumed with my van being a 2020 the latest sync would be the sync 3, bit backwards the latest one being the 2.5?!

I’ve just ordered the focus loom adapter for £12. Cheapest transit one I found was £85, going to look for a ntsc high level brake light camera now and hopefully get this up and running tomorrow

Ive fitted the camera, loom adapter and plugged it in. Ive tried to code it but when I enable the camera in the BCMii module nothing changes when I select reverse? I still just get the parking sensor image

Forscan lets you enable the camera in 'easy' mode but if I go into the BCMii As Built option I don't have 727-08-02. All of the codes seem to begin with 726.

Any one got any ideas?
