I visited my local Ford dealership this week to try and get mine booked in for the inspection, they told me mine isnt effected. its a 2018 facelift, now at 95,000 miles and I'm getting nervous!

Mines a 2018 facelift too and no notice of a recall. I’m sure what someone put up said 2017-2019

I have heard that it is between May 2016 and July 2019. Mine is a 66 plate registered in 2017. When I asked last week, it was not on the recall, when it went in at the end of the week it was. The recall was announced earlier this year and then withdrawn due to lack of parts. It is being rolled out again slowly according to my dealer. Not a huge job to check the belt yourself if your concerned. Mine is going in to be done this week.

Don’t we have to unscrew the fuel filler pipe on our vans? I know the big transits you can just look in.

I have a borescope. I wonder if I could use that

Yes.
Remove the airbox, and then you will have to remove the airlfow meter at the back left to allow access. The oil filler neck then unscrews half a turn, it has a clip holding it in place. I then put my phone over the hole and photographed it. Can't get a fat head like mine in there.
