Help pls - 2015 2.2l TDCi fails to start - no diesel to rail

So this is our 2015 Transit Custom 2.2 TDCi - 60k miles, last fully serviced August 2020

Van failed to start then came to life, ran for about 10 minutes then cut out again and failed to restart.

Here's what we know:
Fuel filter OK, fuel pump, fuse and relay 100% ok
Ignition on and pressing low pressure valve (A) allows diesel to pump out via valve
Cracking open feed to rail and cranking engine on starter motor shows no diesel reaching rail
When 'Easy Start' was sprayed into induction, van started and ran perfectly for a few seconds on the vapor

Could it be a pressure valve requiring replacing or something else or is it potentially a full pump failure (!)?

How old is the battery? Had a similar problem recently when van wouldn't fire up. Replaced battery and fine since. Just a thought.

Thanks and agreed re battery suggestion but it's fully charged and 3 months old - no issues until last week when van was tricky to start, ran for a short while then failed to start ever since

Having carried out further tests and all looking 'OK' with no codes anywhere, and despite the 3 month old battery, we again followed your steer to the battery again. It transpires one of the cells was collapsing under load - faulty manufacture.

New replacement battery has completely resolved what was turning into a troublesome problem
