Cut out no start, engine malfunction service now P062D.

Good afternoon to you all , new here i am having issues with my 2014 Transit Custom 2.2 Diesel trend 270 89000 miles on dash , wile driving engine malfunction service now message with traction control warning and engine management light, speed was 30 m/hr just at junction, van did not start back again turning over not firing , had van recovered home dtc stored in pcm/ecm P062D:49-A7 fuel injector driver circuit performance bank 1 , dtc in abs module also U0401:68-8B invalid data received from pcm/ecm U0422:68-0B invalid data received from BCM , tried clearing fault codes but they come strait back , inspected pcm found water ingress at the module location ,connectors were fine no water at the pins, wire loom checking out ok, all earth points ok ,pcm back plate looking rusty at the edges , i am sending ECU /PCM away for testing is anyone had this issue ? thank you for your time reading this post .

hi , no not yet still working on it, P062D AND U0401 invalid data received from PCM in ABS module also , i have no 12v to injectors!, wire harness checking out ok from PCM to injectors no open or short circuits , 200 oms tested on all 4 injectors from PCM and at the injector with wire harness connected and disconnected , also water ingress inside wire harness all cleaned and tidy up and water leak sorted no water in PCM at all by the way i have opened PCM , i am suspecting PCM injector control driver internal failures , van will start after reconnecting PCM but will cut out after 1 min running this is intermittent/ randomly happens , engine malfunction message pops on dash will not start again ,depending were you had the damage on yours what DTC you have? if you have dtc in RCM than maybe is inhibiting engine start by the crash event stored in module , if passenger side was involved in crash than that were is the PCM fitted and ABS same side just below , second hand PCM on his way ill post here with outcome so watch this space thank you ,regards ROB .

I have a similar problem (error code) with non-start issue. Suspecting no power to injectors after reading your comments. With the ignition on will I see 12v at the injectors with a multimeter even if the van is not running?

hi, yes you should have 12v at the injector wire harness connected with ignition on , injector is driven by ecu injector driver ic chip , ground is switched by ecu , i have the second hand ecu /pcm just waiting now to be cloned , will post after fix , thank you guys

got some updates regarding P062D dtc when i have plugged old PCM started van as usual started and tested voltage at idle i had 3,9 v when revving around 2000 rpm engine 5,7v than van cuts out dtc is present , plugged second hand PCM immobilizer fault as you expect but no engine malfunction message and no P062D , just contacted Vantuner hopefully he can help if not i have a specialist local to me, so van will be recovered to him and configure new PCM garage got the Ford IDS diagnostic available , ill keep you guys posted ,thank you for the support guys !

Good news we have a fix , first of all massive thank you to VANTUNER !!!!! he cloned second hand ecu/pcm for us plug and play no hassle, cleared dtcs, abs no dtc, pcm same no dtc, voltage now normal 12v at injector as expected , was no water damage to ecu injector control circuit control malfunction , so yes after 430 pounds spent van fixed back on the road , hope this will help somebody in future, thank you.
