2015 TDCI Custom - fuel component identification ...

Hi - hopefully a simple answer to the following on our 2015 2.2 Tdci Custom:

Can someone advise what this component is? We've pulled back the protective rubber cover mounted across the front lower subframe. One fuel line seems to run to a 't' piece connected to the output of the fuel filter.

Fuel pump for the dpf vaporiser

Many thanks for the quick reply - if this was failing, is it likely to be a cause for the engine to stop running after 20-30 minutes?

No the pcm inly turns it on when the vehicle needs to carry out a dpf regeneration. If that pump has failed then the only issue it should cause would be blocked dpf

Great info - many thanks and I can rule that out as IDS and Forscan show DPF seems to be OK - we'll keep digging and I appreciate the quick response
