It's a 40mm drop on the rear

are you sure ? mine is 30 in the photo below with standard front suspension

Didn't measure before and after and just went with the Bilstein info but I took picture for ref and I'd be surprised if it was anything less than 40mm

It was too much, well i kept whacking the tow bar on speed bumps in central london

It might have been 45mm i can’t remember

The tow bar was a consideration for me too but no issues so far. What I did overlook was the fact of course that the tow ball height would drop. Fortunately I have the facility to raise the ball and would you believe it the higher fixing hole centres are about 40mm up.
