Ford transit custom 17 plate parking sensor fault

I hope someone can help me find a solution for a problem I'm having for the parking sensor system.

I purchased the van as a cat s repaired vehicle and was aware of a fault with the parking sensors when I bought the vehicle.

As part of the works to repair the vehicle the mechanic changed the bumper for one that did not have parking sensors fitted. This is not a problem as I'm not wanting front parking sensors however this has a knock on effect of disabling the whole system also disabling the rear sensors.

I have done a little research and apparently ford make an 8 x sensor PDC module for front and rear and they make a 4 x sensor module kit for rear only. Does anyone know if its possible to just replace the PDC control module to the 4 x sensor version and get the rear working again?
