Door locks on its own

drivers door will lock on its own with the key in the ignition sometimes why.

Check the plug at the door pillar for corrosion.

Sorry forgot to reply back to this the wiring harness in the door had two broken wires they were found by stripping back the sleeve near the plug end was very brittle so I changed the door harness job done
