2016 2.0 Tourneo custom Coolant leak - Help!

Postby jarni » Tue Apr 19, 2022 8:30 am

Hello,

I have a leaking coolant on my 2016 2.0 Torneo custom... it is leaking on the hoses leding to rear AC unit... did anyone had such a problem? We changed the rubber conecting hoses and clamps, but the leak is still there... it is located under the rear sliding doors... I went to the local Ford dealer and they told me that I can only buy a whole package of rubber and steel hoses for my van... and that costs a lot...
Any Ideas? I am going for a pretty long trip on Saturday, so I need to fix this...

Best regards, Jarni

Here is a picture of the leaking rubber hoses (or maybe some bad plastic connectors...)

Are there any o-rings in connectors on these hoses? Could they leak?

The leak doesnt seem to be coming from the orings in the quick release clips.
I think its the hose itself.
I would remove everything, even the quick release fittings and start from scratch with new heater hose and 4 new clamps.
