Dropped wedding ring into rear upright! Ideas?

Stupid! Went into that hole.

Any ideas?

Bluetack on the end of coat hanger wire ..gold is non magnetic so you aren't going to get it out with a magnet.

Same method as above, but I would use Sellotape (other sticky backed plastic is available!) wrapped many times around the end (sticky side out) of whatever you can get into the area. I have a coil of flexible coiled steel, like a small pipe bender, that's great for that sort of job.

Get one of those flexible grab things it’s like a chock cable but you press the plunger on the end in and 3 or 4 pronged claws come out the other end and opens up then when you release the plunger they retract and close up and hopefully grab the ring they used to be very cheep from car accessory shops .

No luck, I've waggled blutac everywhere I can access down there.

I also dropped 2 small test stones and have lost them too.

I think I need to remove the bumper and get in the body air vents

If you remove the plastic trim across the rear of the load floor,you’ll see 4 rivets holding the spare wheel carrier winder plate.
Removing the carrier will give you access to the rear crossmember internally,I THINK the area you lost the ring may be open to the rear x member.
Also there are usually grommets directly underneath that area for wiring to go through,try removing them ?

If you do remove the carrier,wind spare wheel down and remove it,then you can Unclip the outer cable from its support under the van,drill or grind off the rivet heads,remove carrier…
