ABS Module Replacement?

Hi,

Anyone had any experience of replacing the ABS module in a 2013 Tourneo (or Transit) Custom; either themselves or by a garage? Mine's currently with my local Ford dealer and they've diagnosed it as faulty, but can't get a replacement to talk to the rest of the van...

They're waiting for further assistance from Ford Technical, but it's now been EIGHT WEEKS and apparently they're still working on it... I can't believe it's that complicated, or that my van is the only one in the world that's ever been a problem!

Any pearls of wisdom from someone in the know would be much appreciated - or anyone else with experience of this long waiting for a fix! Customer relations assure me it's being actively worked on, but are so far refusing to comment on my questions of whether they think this is an acceptable level of service - tried (and failed) so far to make contact with anyone higher up the chain!

No experience with transit (fleet vehicle) but the one on my Zafira went and I had to match the part numbers and letter 100% so the ECU could talk to it...

All - sorry for resurrecting an old post, but just realised I never posted a follow-up to this, so thought it might help someone in the future...

It turns out that after THREE MONTHS, Ford finally worked out that they just weren't following the correct process for reprogramming the module!

On the plus side, Ford ended up paying for it...
