Keyfob problems

Postby Nick1969 » Wed Jul 06, 2022 4:48 pm

Hi, I'm having a problem with my remote keyfob and central locking on my 65 plate ex AA van.
The keyfob started to intermittently stop working,a quick bang on the palm of my hand and it would work again. Steadily got worse, so I sent it off to be repaired. I received it back today and it's not working at all now. The repairer is being a bit sharp and has said it's guaranteed to work and it must be the van remote central locking fuse or receiver unit.
I want to check these before I return the keyfob but I can't locate the remote central locking fuse. It's not listed in the manual or online anywhere......
Anybody know where it is or what I can do...?
Thanks
Nick

Get a simple am radio from tesco and tune it to pick up the digital (compare with someone else's) u can then actually know it is the fob before you start pulling things apart on the van
