Hello Guys,Transit Custom 66 plate Euro 5 125ps,167.000 miles,had the van since new,i had the exhaust system blocked drive to clean message flash up a couple of weeks ago,also traction light and Eml came on.I had the Dpf taken off the van and professionally cleaned,their mechanic who took it off diagnosed faulty vapouriser and sensor.i also had them replaced.He stated the Egr was stuck shut as well and also needed replacing.I do about 150 miles a day to work and before i had this problem the van would usually do a regen when i got to work and when i got home.My question is am i ok to use the van while i wait for the new Egr to arrive or does it affect the regen process in any way by being stuck shut?Would be nice to leave it stuck shut until just before Mot is due next January so the engine can have some nice clean air and maybe better fuel economy.Many Thanks,
