Engine Management Light

I have a 2015 Transit Custom and a few days ago the engine management light came on so off i went to the garage to have it scanned.
Its running great and the garage said all it needed was a really good run to clear the dpf .
I have taken it out on the motorway this morning and kept it in fourth gear so the revs are higher and done around 30 miles.
The light is still on will this take a while to go out ?

I would ask the garage what the fault code was when they plugged it in, very rarely does the engine management light go off on its own.
