My 8 wiper failure *again*!

Okay so my 2017 2ltr custom has had previous wiper failure down to the known connector issue at the drivers side motor.
Read the dialogue here and after some expensive parts problem solved and all working.
Yes I did seal up the ‘new’ connector and socket with insulation tape, Vaseline and a tartan scarf !
That was six months or more ago.
Now the wipers and washer are dead. Nothing.
I’ve checked fuses under the bonnet.
I’ve checked the referenced fuses below the steering column 10, 51, 52 & 1- all good
I’m not sure how I can test the relay?
Could the switch itself fail? It feels same as always?
So far as I know everything else is fine, so I’m assuming the fuses are receiving the appropriate power?
Mystified of Maidstone….
Please help before I incendurise the bloody thing!
