Wakey wakey bcm...

Trying to find a way to 'wake up' the bcm so I can sort out my doors unlocking from a remote (using my phone).
The door switch method is great, but if I leave it 10 mins, the bcm goes to sleep abd the door switch method no longer works.
I tried creating a controllable 12v break from the rear door latch but it still doesn't wake it up.
Anyone done this before ?
