Breaking LWB 06 90ps 230LX silver

Postby tt225 » Sun Oct 27, 2013 6:05 pm

We`re breaking our 2006 Connect due to an argument with a tree - anyway its a 230 LX LWB in silver. The rear doors are both excellent apart from a small dent at the bottom of the drivers side which happened a few years ago. I`ve got all the locks off and ecu, plus electric windows and a few other bits and if anyones interested in the engine an box etc it was fine pre accident but has had a heavy front collision.
I really need it gone by the weekend so what hasn't sold will go to the scrapyard

Its got remote central locking so the side door lock has a rubber plug where the lock would normally be, not sure why apart from security but the other 3 doors have lock barrels.

I`m in Bingham, I would think lwb and swb locks are the same, I`ve got it all wrapped up at the moment so I can`t get to it to check the numbers - I`ve took the other locks off but the side doors still on

It was my son driving - skidded on leaves and mud but yes thanks he`s fine, abit bruised and shook up but the Connect is obviously a good van to have an accident in - the racking in the back I made from Unistrut etc. and also the steel bulkhead helped to stiffen it all up as well

No sorry its the top one that's left the bottom one is missing - strangely enough my mk7 Transit looks to have the same interior handle and the bottom cover is missing from that too, must be a common problem :(

Electric windows and door cards have sold but among other things the following is still available:

New and unused genuine Ford brake shoes boxed;
Lock set, central locking actuators, ecu dash, heater/AC switch panel and radio aperture etc
1.8tdci 90bhp cylinder head plus injectors, turbo etc (engine block may be ok but the sump is badly dented)
both rear doors - left hand is excellent, the right one is apart from a minor dent on the bottom
Headrests, rear light clusters
The exhaust was replaced a couple of years ago and most of it should be ok
6000CD radio with code
3 of the plastic arches are still intact plus the set of side rubbing strips
Ford 2 part steel solid bulkhead although Andyg has got first refusal at the moment on this
airbag module
Side door `workings`
Both heated electric door mirrors one has a cracked lower mirror the other needs a new large mirror
Theres two wheel trims left both have a few scratches and one has a small split
Towbar and electrics plus various other parts that I`ll list later
The shell will hopefully be going this weekend for scrap and I`m hoping to get whats left on ebay unless anyone on here wants it first

If theres anything youre after I might have it just ask :D
