My father’s rare Transit is now being offered for sale as one complete restoration project.

Specification includes:

* 3.0 Essex V6 petrol engine
* Manual gearbox with overdrive
* Twin rear wheels
* Limited-slip differential
* Power steering
* Explosafe petrol tank
* LWB high-roof body

It has been SORN and stored since 2005 and requires a major restoration, including extensive bodywork and full mechanical recommissioning.

The sale includes the accompanying spare parts, genuine Ford invoices and the original Ford microfiche parts catalogue. The vehicle and parts will not be separated, as my father would prefer it to be restored rather than broken.
