Mk5 Transit 80 SWB

Postby tabscat » Sat Jan 18, 2020 4:05 pm

Hi

Unfortunately due to a change in circumstances I am no longer going to be able to keep my Mk 5 retirement Transit project and have to sell.

It was registered in May 2000, it has the 2.5 diesel engine and was regularly serviced. It has done 122533 miles. It is the SWB semi high with central locking , immobiliser and electric windows. Rear double doors and side sliding door on the passenger side.

It has the usual rust round the arches and at the bottom on the sills. Its last MOT it needed welding on the cill under the passenger door and it looks like the same needs doing on the drivers side now. I am including pictures of all the rust problems.

Mechanically it was sound and last time I started it ( 3 years ago) it started first time after having sat there for 4 years. The seats are in good condition .Unfortunately after having tried to charge the battery I have not been able to so have not started it at the current time.

Price £750 ono.

The van needs to go soon. I do not want to scrap it and would like it to go to a good home so am reducing the price to £350. If it doesn't go soon i will be putting it on Ebay.
