mk1 swb panel van or shell wanted

They did, a friend had a LWB SHR Single rear door and hinged SDL, might have had a sliding passenger door as well but I am not sure but the drivers definately was a sliding version, silly low milage but he let the body go and then had an arguement with a Taxi, got it repaired but it was a hammer and paint job mainly to straighten it up, not a true repair, sold it on for I think he said £400, that new owner would have been #3 !
I borrowed it a few times but hated it due mainly to the clutch being extremely high and the steering was like you see in the films...straight road and you had to turn the wheel all the time :shock: It was very wierd driving with the door slide back, nice in the summer but still a very wierd feeling

I seem to remember somebody saying thier sliding door flew off whilst they were driving, can't remember who! Anyway, it's the fact the door is further away than a slam one and driving along with it open just makes me feel like I am falling out!
