Hi, Got a mk2 transit single cab recovery coming to me in the next couple of weeks if any use to you?

i have a mark 2 transit recovery truck, the truck has been garaged up for 10+ years the body is a beavertail it has a hydraulic lift to raise the body, the winch is not electric but manuel, there is a bar comes from the winch to the side of the truck to allow you to operate.The truck its self is is really quite solid so is the chassis. Iam told the mielage is original at 40220 by the old guy who had it.

dont know if youve found a mk2 transit recovery truck yet ?

i have a mk2 recovery truck beavertail 1980v 222619 miles 2.5diesel & 5speed-manual the engine &gearbox is from a
later mk3 transit excellent runners spot on starts 1st time every try without fail but i dont know when the engine-gearbox
was changed and dont know the milage when engine-gearbox was changed either ,ive owned it about 6-7months now
it needs attention to chassis mainly at front the crossmembers,steps,door-sills(ns-os),the rear part of chassis is quite
good but still needs a little attention and also needs attention to--steering the ns/os-trackrod-ends/arms-lowerball joints-
or kingpins,front-ns-leafspring needs replacing,the cab is quite good body panels good but slight rust holes in roof-edge
and a few only 5 very tinny rust holes around windscreen water gets in lays on floor,the floor of cab has had in past some
very extensive welding done plates welded in places,all work on chassis is marked with yellow crayon easy to see where
the brake-pedal is a little spongy but still stop the truck could also do with a paint-respray too ,
it needs repairs doing to it im guessing all work needed will probably cost about £1000-00.without respray!
these trucks are very rare and ive just seen 2 selling for £2500-/£3500- no joking around seriously no joke !!
so i want for my truck considering the amount of work involved for repairs
i will take £700-00. strickly no offers it drives but has fair amount of play in steering when turning corners etc
but is drivable so £700-00. NO OFFERS! would you be interested ?

my truck and wanted to drive it home i couldnt say if it would be ok the distance i drove it home locally from a village
near to me about 15miles away it was ok so it may be ok to drive it a distance ,but has the play in steering

also i have a rover coupe 216 tomcat 1996p 122254miles 2door silver good clean original interior excellent runner
new-> head-gasket/exhaust down pipe/battery/fanbelt/recent cambelt/rear brake-pads/front-ns trackrod-end/
new 12months .m.o.t.from july10-2010 to july09-2011 drive away now sadly no service history but good clean
original car not modified at all only 2 very small rust spots on rear wheel arche not serious and few very very minor scratches only otherwise quite good condition ,these cars are rare now not many around and not many made either
my rover is the base model with standard non-electric non-leather only cloth seats
has power steering,electric windows,electric anti-mist door-mirrors,abs,air-conditioning,bmw-bbs alloy wheels with the
toyo-proxes t1r-195/55r/15-(v85) tyres the V TREAD SPORT TYRES,the (v85 means the car's maximum speed is 85mph
using these tyres on car! ) excellent runner good steering,engine-gearbox,steering clutch smooth ,nice driver !
so what do i want for my rover 216 tomcat coupe
£1000-00. OR VERY VERY NEAR OFFER! ive seen 2 cars same specification selling for £1200-00 to £2500-00
