Postby ajbgardening » Sat Jan 04, 2014 10:25 am

My daily driver is already a mk5 lightly customized but want to do one with a bigger engine. any help on this would be good many thanks

Probably because you live a bit too near to London where Boris tried to have them exterminated!

how much doing up were you thinking?

I have an ex BT (still has eberspacher heater attached) that needs a bit of love but is basically fairly solid for a 1995 van. It has a whiney/grindy noise which is most likely the prop centre bearing, I've robbed a few bits from the cab like the drivers door card and it has a broken front spring which is why I never bothered with an MOT test I just bought another smiley transit.

I found it extremely comfortable, very cozy little room, like being in a country pub :)

Not sure what would happen in the event of a crash, as the chairs only had gravity holding them to the floor, but none the less lovely back room scheme going on there ;)

A bar with a busty barmaid, that's what's missing!

I'm also still working on the open fire, I've torched 4 vans so far trying to get it right!
