Wanted, hire a luton van for 3 days

Postby mike331 » Wed May 23, 2007 6:57 pm

I might have a job on, starting 16th june for 3 days. I will need a Luton, pref long wheel base. Thought I'd ask here before trying the local hire companies, as I'd rather my money went to a like minded individual.

It's for a trip up to the isle of skye, the only small stumbling block I have, is my licence is still adressed as my parents house. Didn't realise I'd forgoten to send it off till today, and doubt I'd get it back in time for the trip

Anybody got any sensible ideas or a van I can hire?

Royspeed is no longer a member on here so I doubt he will answer any PMs.

Need to hire a van. I got a job on that would mean me making 2 or 3 trips in my tiny tranny, so need a luton to make the job easier. Just thought I'd ask on here, as stated, would rather give my money to someone off here rather than the scallies round Derby

O.K. Looks like I've won the job, need a van late on the 19th till teatime on 22nd june. If any body can help let me know. I've found a local hire company who can do it for £150 all in, mk6? luton, could be mk7, I don't know the difference  but smart and it's still a tranny which is the main thing 8)

Would rather I gave my money to one of you lot though

Big P.s. if anybody has anything in scottland, that they want fetching back towards the midlands, let me know

It's a hire company called Nightingale, here in Derby. Obviously that's just for the hire, and last time I hired a van from them, the tank was almost completely dry  litterally on fumes getting to the garage to put some in.
