CASH VAN OR SECURICOR VAN

Postby FredTransit » Sun Oct 02, 2005 9:28 pm

If anybody sees one of these in a scrapyard, or on ebay or anywhere else for sale, please let me know. They are pretty rare, and if one doesn't turn up soon we are gonna have to make one! Mk2 preferred.

That's what I am looking for Luke, do you know if he's still got it? I would be suprised if it's actually a securicor van, if it is it's the one that got away!

I doubt it was about 4-5 yrs ago was near Chesterfield - cant remember exactly!!
Might have been a group4 one then- it was cream coloured!! but it was deffinatly cash delivery type with armoured windows etc.
he wanted £250 for it i think! it was a bit of a state though - i only wanted it for the Di, back then when Di's were rarer it wansnt too bad a price!!

Doesn't matter Luke, even if we take off the amoured galss ect, to mock up another van, or even just get pics to refer from, there is no other way of getting a reference.

Yes I have, but I think I would be looking for the 'something that didn't look like it was built by the A team' look! Also Mk2 is the earliest I would get away with at this stage.
