My fatha in law might be selling his fairly soon. It's been off the road for a while but is pretty clean and presentable - will need back axle replacing or rebuilding pretty soon though - terrible noisy it is. Bit of welding on the rear floor, but was running happily when it came off the road - apart from the racket from the back.

Located in Lancashire just off the M6 at J35. Fair trek from Worthing but I always reckon if you want something then it's worth travelling for - only a few hours on the train at the end of the day.

Will keep you posted if you're interested.

It's been on SORN for a while mate. He has a Pajero and a 1200 Bandit on the road for work and fun and didn't want to be taxing three vehicles at the same time! The plan was originally to build a camper out of it, but I think he's starting to think it would be quite a big job, especially when he has a caravan sitting next to it on the drive!

Before he put it on SORN, it was driving no bother at all. He'd done a couple of long distance delivery jobs for his work when they were stuck, and the last time we were out in it was a trip up to the north east to collect a leather suite. Never had any bother with it apart from that noisy axle - but it seems to pull very well for a non turbo, and he was working out his mpg which seemed to be around the mid thirties somewhere - I was quite impressed with it.

Let me know if you're still interested when you pass your test anyway!

Cheers,

Andy

even if you pass your test i dont think you can drive it ,it all depends on the gross weight of the van!

Just realised that fatha's is single wheel too - though as I said, it could do with a new axle in the back. Don't know if the DRW axle is a straight swap - but you said you wanted something needing some tlc - what better way to give a van tlc than treating it to a new axle!
