Hello,
Looking to get myself a 2002 or 2003 SWB transit in white, it's gotta be white. And it's gotta have a meduim roof, with preferably the 100ps engine. And as low mileage as I can find. Anything over 70,000 I wouldn't really be interested in. Would like to get one before the year is out, and I'm willing to travel if it's the right van. Been looking everywhere, ebay, autotrader, and there is a few out there, but i just wanna put my feelers out on this site, see what's what.

Cheers for looking.

Andy,

Not really bothered about the payload, but the 280 seems to be the most common I've seen and available.

Kinda looking for a private sale as well, coz I'm not too keen on paying VAT if I don't have to.

Do you know of any?

Oops, and hello everybody!

This will be my second transit I'll have had. Had a K reg swb before, but it eventually gave up the ghost after I gave someone a loan of it, then they put diesel in it(it was a petrol), and the ol' transit didn't like it too much.

Really wouldn't consider buying any other commercial vehicle, going by how good my first one was. The van just wouldn't stop going, never broke down once in the 5 years i had it. Just amazing vans...

Wasn't too keen on it, the guy never had any feedback on ebay, plus when i spoke to him, he wasn't too forthcoming. And the 28.000 miles seemed a bit doubious. Especially after seeing the news story on Channel 5 last night about mileage clocking, did anyone see it?

Cheers for looking, I'm still doing the same....
