This might not be a very popular suggestion but could a nice German Mk1 converted ? You would need a doner to get the dash etc and you would need wings, front panel and bonnet etc. I haven't seen any LWB mk 2 vans on German ebay. You would still have to find a Mk 1 without windows though.

I just got thinking about the amount of welding I ought to be doing on my one and thought about it. The only bit you couldn't really change is the bit round the top of the screen, would be loads of work though.
