To be fair, they are useless, only any use for putting out empties, you will be over weight almost all the time!

trannydenz (member) recently built one on a mk7,,, i,m sure he could give you some info . Probably a different beast , but he may know about weights laws etc ?

A well loaded 2 yard mini skip can weigh in at 2 tonnes, sometimes more.

Remember anyone who hires a skip will do their very best to get as much into it as possible, so they will always be heavy, then allow for the gear on the back of the Transit, and it just doesn't add up.
