I've just put mine up for sale at 1600, I paid 2000 for it. Having done my research, connects for £1000 are crap scrappers unless you are very lucky.

Get the budget up to 1500 and they start getting decent.

800 = tatty 1999 berlingo :lol:

Dunno where you are but to pay £2000 for a '52 plate with a rusty wing is mad!

I sold my '03 today for £1000

SWB LX model with every extra including AC and twin side loaders.

Taxed and tested until August, just had full service, cambelt and new pads

Also got a '54 plate Automatic Kangoo with 55,000 miles for sale at £1000

11 months MOT,5 months Tax 8)

Apart from the wing it's in vgc, clean and tidy. A new wing is £40. I guess I paid over which is why I've put it for sale at 1600, that said the reason I purchased it was because it has only done 131k and has had the full cambelt works and new clutch at 125k. Plus it has handy extras; decent roof rack, decent rear door lock, bulkhead, alloys, 4 brand new tyres, dvd player with dvd etc. Also nearly a years tax & mot and it drives perfect.

Cough*bullsh1t*cough - Mileage??????????? let me guess, 41k FFSH?

It's interesting that people are saying about these dirt cheap vans yet I can't see them for sale here, on the bay or tree? where are you guys selling these dirt cheap vans, please tell me!? fairy land?

Permitting your 03 doesn't have a million miles, you under priced it by AT LEAST 1k. IF it's true that you sold it for 1k (now that is MAD) then the new buyer must have been laughing at you all the way home.

Here is an 03 LX - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321195778580 £2,495.00 and I bet the belt and clutch is due.

i ended up buying a p reg peugeot partner, no laughing lol
basically it was on facebook for sale page and just down the road, as an ex peugeot tech i knew them in and out so thought why not go look at it for £350.
age really put me off but as soon as i got there i knew i'd found a gem, really tidy and probably better than alot later aged vans.
trusty old 1.9d engine, when peugeot made great diesel engines back in the day, ultra reliable but also not very quick being none turbo.
came home that night racking my brains out about how old it was but in the end the wife said get it for a year then after a year i'll have more money for something better rather than a £1000 budget snotter so got it and spent £40 on full service bits and a cambelt and while i was there having a good poke around the last guys had new front brakes inc calipers and hoses,4 new tyres, 2 bottom arms and a few other bits so needs nothing.
will do me untill next year, i pretty chuffed with it even though i was being an ageist!
heres a pic-

Yes bullshit, look at your post here:

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=141585

Whenever somebody puts something for sale you tell them you sold a better one for a fraction of the price.

Well, my view is this. If fake, he is a troll. If True, he is seriously under-pricing his stock and could of sold it at much more and it would have still been cheap.

Also, there is no need to tell everybody in the sales section how he sold one much better for much cheaper (on their threads), that isn't cool either way is it. It's that behavior that led me to believe he was in fact trolling, hard.

Anyway, I no longer care

Think you got a good deal there, ok its not the connect you wanted but it looks very tidy and will get you up and running, at the end of the day you are cleaning things so the cleaner looking your van is the better your customers will think.
