Want something on 'J'reg onwards ideally with winch and not a cliff face beaver if you know what i mean, a nice slope :wink:

Ebay seem full of either overpriced buckets of crap or just overpriced :roll:

Dont help that i'm a fussy bugger and want one with nicely plated and angled bed, contemplating just making my own tbh :?:

If ya can get a decent chassis cab then there's a few companys who will make you a good bed, there's a cracking place in worksop

That was my next step m8 tbh, find a decent wagon and get one built, but fingers crossed I have found one now, won a crewcab on ebay, the guy is putting a new ticket on it as we speak, looks ok from the few pics of it, but he has already had a neg from selling it last time but was being sold with no mot then , so the proof will be in the pudding when i go to collect, if its a bucket i'll walk away, at least it will have a ticket this time though.

I had an add up of cars that I lost through not being able to move them, 27 through long term advertising and a yard that I should of cleared with 19 in, thats a lot of money lost :shock:

Exactly! bad news mate...

Update though, picked one up today, not exactly what I want, but its tax and mot'd and on the rd, just a 6 month stop gap truck i think, just so as i can actually earn some money again from the cars :roll:

to get some funds to get one built, at least that way I get bang on the cre cab and bed I want

No mate, a tranny from ebay, was on for an hour and phoned bloke up and done a deal as long as i collected next morning, it's not the prettiest truck and its petrol, but had a top notch winch and decent vision alert lightbar, but with the scrap so high as you know its hard work finding one ready to go not at millions of quid!

Had to lower my standards for the time being :roll:

to be fair though it can't be that bad as it done the 150 odd mile home with a mondeo on the back and on 30 quid of fuel

Only one bonus with petrol is the scrappers can keep it fueled up :lol:

even if it is wierd to drive without a diesel cackle :lol:

Lol hearing the radio is always a plus, especially on those long boring journeys across the country plodding along with the artics overtaking you :roll:

Any luck on the petrol truck you were off to see mate?
